A rivet nut is used in when materials are especially thin, the backside of the material isn’t easily accessible, and disassembly and reassembly is regularly required. A rivet nut is intended to be used with Grade 5 or Class 8.8 hardware. A rivet nut can be installed into multiple sheets of thin material such as steel, plastic, fiberglass and aluminum. Upon installation, additional threaded fastener components may be attached. The rivet nut series that we offer are useful to automotive, furniture, military, aerospace, agricultural, heating ventilation, and air conditioning industries.
